5 things you didn't know your iPhone could do
You may be gazing at it constantly, but your iPhone still has a few surprises upits sleeve.
Yes, we're all aware of the camera, the clock and the calculator, but did you know your iPhone can also be a level? Well, it can.
Here are five surprising things you didn't know your iPhone could do.
1. Send self-destructing messages.
You can set your audio and video messages to self-destruct after two minutes, or you can elect for them to be permanent. Just go to Settings > Messages and pick your preference.
2. Trying to hang shelves or art? Your iPhone has a level function.
Just go to the Compass and swipe left.
3. Check which apps are using the most battery.
Go to Settings, then scroll down to Battery to see which of your apps is sucking up the most battery life. (Clearly, we need to chill on the Instagram.)
4. Mute annoying group threads.
Not into the group barrage but don't have the heart to leave? Just head to the thread's "Details" section, then put the convo on "Do Not Disturb."
5. Take a creepy look at everywhere you've ever been.
To see an unnerving list of everywhere you've traveled in the past few months, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services. There is also an extremely specific map function, but we'd rather you not see that.
