Powerball numbers for 05/04/2016; jackpot jumps to $361M, but did you win?

LANSING, MI -- The jackpot was for more than originally anticipated for the Powerball drawing held on May 4, 2016, but still, no one won the grand prize.

The jackpot was initially announced at $348 million, but during the live drawing, it was revealed the jackpot increased to $361.5 million. The cash option was not announced during the drawing.

Because there was no winner, that means the drawing on Saturday, May 7 will have an estimated jackpot of $415 million and a cash option of $269.7 million.

Powerball winners for May 4:

• Two players matched all five white numbers, which pays $1 million. Those lucky winners bought their tickets in Florida and New York.
• Neither of those winners played the Power Play as well, which would have increased their winnings to $2 million. 
• Overall, there were 1,872,974 winners in the drawing, who won at least $4 each. That was up from the 1,236,205 winners in last Saturday's drawing. In Michigan, there were 50,540 winners.
• One ticket sold in Michigan matched four white balls plus the Powerball to win $50,000. That winner also played the Power Play, increasing their winnings to $150,000.

The last grand prize Powerball winner was sold last month in Florida. That lucky winner was the sole winner of the $292 million jackpot.

Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26) Tickets cost $2 each.
