Pirelli wants Giedo van der Garde's do this year further tire tests with a view to 2017, but also considering Pastor Maldonado involving its testing.
Van der Garde tested in 2015, all tires for Pirelli and had recently been in talks with Formula 1 know that it is indeed possible that he will do more for the Italian tire supplier.
Pirelli would Giedo later want to use this year when tested with a car that is adapted to simulate the characteristics of a 2017 car, so as also to test the new, wider tires in 2017.
Besides Van der Garde could Pirelli also former Williams and Lotus driver Maldonado want to use tests, message Autosport .Maldonado is known as a driver who well with the tires can handle.
In addition, Maldonado has extensive experience in the V6 turbo engines where ridden since 2014, though Van der Garde in 2014 as a test driver for Sauber also drove a car from this era.
The intention is that there will first be tested with older cars, which are used by the teams themselves. These teams, however, would like to use their own drivers, it is reported.

Ferrari's test driver Jean-Eric Vergne Tuesday with a 2014 Ferrari tested tires at Fiorano. It was about 2016 tires, which are therefore narrower than that for 2017, with some prototype components.
